Program and Training Manager
Andrea Young is the Program and Training Manager at the National Center for Campus Public Safety. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring and implementing effective training and program management, budgeting, and operations that support successful project management goals and objectives for the National Center. This includes working cooperatively with partner agencies on key delivery areas, including delivering institutes, conferences, seminars, webinars, and facilitating emerging issues forums. Previously, Andrea was the Homeland Security Training Coordinator for the State of Vermont, Criminal Justice Training Council. She also worked for the Vermont Department of Public Safety as the Homeland Security Exercise Planner and Grant Manager. Outside the office, Andrea enjoys playing broomball and watching hockey, reading, attending concerts and theater, and spending time with her husband and four–legged children.
