ADA National Network Learning Session: Implementing Disability Access in a Healthcare Setting

The Americans with Disability Act and other Disability Access laws set out principles to follow. Implementing these principles requires careful program design. This session will set out program strategies for implementing the disability access principles in both inpatient and outpatient settings including operations, policies, accessible medical equipment and physical access. Learning objectives include understand principles of an effective program, learning how to develop and capture best practice in your policies, and learning challenges and successes of implementing these strategies.
