3:00pm – 4:00pm (1 hour)
Time Zone: Eastern

In response to the nation's opioid crisis, SAMHSA awarded a two-year grant to provide technical assistance to states and territories to the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry (AAAP) with a coalition of national professional organizations. These TA activities are designed to enhance the work of the Opioid STR efforts already underway throughout the United States and territories. The STR-TA Consortium utilizes local experts in prevention, treatment and recovery to facilitate access to evidence-based resources. This webinar will provide an overview of the US Opioid Crisis and technical assistance models. Participants will gain a complete understanding of technical assistance and how it can assist providers in addressing addiction related needs by utilizing community resources.
