This is a one-day course on best practices in behavioral threat assessment and threat management, taught by SIGMA Threat Management Associates. Threat assessment is the current best practice for preventing campus violence, workplace violence, school violence, stalking, and violence against public officials and public figures. This course teaches participants how to assess threats and other disturbing behavior, take steps to reduce risk, and prevent violence and stalking. The course includes tabletop exercises to provide participants with multiple opportunities to use best-practice procedures in behavioral threat assessment and threat management.

Target Audience: The course is appropriate for participants from multiple sectors, including colleges and universities, workplaces, government agencies, military branches, law enforcement agencies, K-12 schools, mental health, and private security / executive protection.
