Blurred Lines: The Convergence of Gaming and Gambling

In today's society, it is normal to enjoy social gaming. Whether for excitement, escape, or a way to test one's skill, many find it to be an enjoyable activity to stay connected with others. For some, however, social gaming can lead to destructive patterns and behaviors ultimately resulting in disordered gambling. This workshop will identify the background and connection between social games, eSports, and internet gambling while addressing the issues and establishing principles of meaningful recovery.
