This training is designed to provide the latest information and tools in the area of crime prevention on college campuses. This campus crime prevention training will provide participants with the knowledge, skills, and resources to lead crime prevention services for their campuses, and to foster relationships within their campus community. Strengthening these partnerships will enable their crime prevention efforts to be successful. This curriculum includes best practices in college crime prevention as well as Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) strategies, campus crime prevention programs, community policing strategies, and available crime prevention resources.

Target Audience: This training is intended for Virginia campus law enforcement, campus security officers, municipal law enforcement with a connection to institutions of higher education, campus staff who lead and provide prevention services for students on their campuses, and crime prevention practitioners.
