May 22, 2019May 23, 2019

Support Sexual Assault Victims through victim-centered care and justice. Sharpen your investigation, documentation, and prosecution skills and learn best practices for Sexual Assault Response Team collaboration. SART members will learn how law enforcement, victim advocates, prosecutors and medical personnel can provide victim-centered services to victims of sexual assault. Participants will work as simulated SARTs to make tough decisions from medical and crime scene evidence collection through the trial. Trainers will take participants through realistic simulations and facilitated discussions. SARTs will use the evidence collected to help work their way through the maze of the sexual assault investigation.

Target Audience: This training is for professionals who serve on SARTs, including victim advocates, law enforcement, medical personnel, prosecutors, and campus personnel who respond to sexual assault victims.
