Trauma Informed Sexual Assault Investigation Training

This two-day class will strengthen officers' response to survivors of sexual assault while simultaneously holding offenders accountable and improving investigations. Information on the neurobiological impact of trauma, the influence of societal myths and stereotypes regarding victim response and perpetrator behavior, and effective methods for conducting sexual assault investigations and interviews is included.
