August 31 2015
Burlington, VT – The National Center for Campus Public Safety (NCCPS), managed by Margolis Healy under a cooperative agreement with the US Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, has announced the addition of Jeff Allison to its team of professionals as Strategic Partnerships Coordinator. Jeff joins the NCCPS on September 1, 2015, after a 30-year career with the US Department of Justice, the most recent 11 years of which he spent as the FBI Special Adviser for Campus Public Safety.
NCCPS Director Kim Richmond is eager for Jeff to officially join her team. “We’ve been working closely with Jeff since the NCCPS officially opened its doors in May 2014. His experience and knowledge is an invaluable addition to our work and we look forward to working with him on a day-to-day basis now.”
In his new role, Jeff will act as the “bridge” between campus public safety agencies or their national organizations and federal resources that currently exist to complement or serve their needs should they need assistance or resources. Likewise, if a federal agency needs to connect with campus public safety at the national, state or local level, Jeff will facilitate that relationship.
About the National Center for Campus Public Safety
The National Center for Campus Public Safety (NCCPS) is managed and led by Margolis Healy through a cooperative agreement with the US Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance. It is the first comprehensive, centralized resource for campus public safety organizations and brings together many aspects of campus safety - from campus police chiefs and security directors, to professional associations, advocacy organizations and community leaders - under one entity. The NCCPS mission is to improve and expand resources to those charged with providing a safe environment for our students, faculty, teachers and staff at our nation's schools. The NCCPS was chartered by Congress in 2013, with bipartisan support, in the wake of recent school tragedies. For more information: www.nccpsafety.org and www.margolishealy.com
