Affiliate entities are an important part of the campus public safety community. They include groups such as federal agencies, associations serving institutions of higher education, and professional and nonprofit organizations. We have compiled a list of these affiliates, listed alphabetically, for your easy reference. This is a "living list" that will continue to grow and expand over time. We encourage you to regularly visit this list for updates.
Men Can Stop Rape (MCSR)
Men Can Stop Rape's mission is to mobilize men to use their strength for creating cultures free from violence, especially men's violence against women. They provide agencies, schools, and organizations with direct services for youth, public service messaging, and leadership training.
Mental Health America (MHA)
MHA's mission is to promote mental health, prevent mental disorders and advocate, educate and serve all Americans on mental and substance use conditions.
MentalHealth.gov
MentalHealth.gov provides access to U.S. government mental health and mental health problems information. MentalHealth.gov aims to educate and guide the general public, health and emergency preparedness professionals, policy makers, government and business leaders, school systems, and local communities.
Michael H. Minger Foundation
The Michael H. Minger Foundation was founded after the death of Michael Minger in an arson fire at Murray State University in Kentucky. Michael was a sophomore pursuing degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Music/Vocal Performance. Michael had a non-verbal learning disability, which is on the Autism spectrum. It was a contributing factor to his death. The Foundation’s mission is to raise the awareness and standards of campus fire safety for all students and also addresses fire safety issues specific to students with disabilities.
