Protecting Children from Educator Sexual Misconduct: A Series of Checklists

United Educators (UE), 2019

Educators are responsible for the well-being of minors at their schools. United Educators (UE) developed this series of checklists to provide tips and best practices for establishing a comprehensive risk management program to protect children from sexual misconduct. The series includes information on reporting and addressing suspected misconduct, screening employees and volunteers, managing campus contractors and student educators, behavioral standards for interacting with minors, a checklist for supervisors, and training to prevent sexual misconduct.
