Safe Housing Partnerships

National Resource Center on Domestic Violence (NRCDV) and National Alliance for Safe Housing (NASH), 2017

Survivors of violence face real barriers when trying to access safe housing – barriers caused by the power and control dynamics of abuse, a need for safety and confidentiality, economic instability, the effects of trauma, and the lack of affordable housing in communities. This website is a collection of strategies, resources, case studies, reports, and statistics that providers and advocates can use to enhance services and better meet the needs of survivors who are or are at risk of becoming homeless.

The National Center for Campus Public Safety website is funded through cooperative agreement 2013-MU-BX-K011 from the Bureau of Justice Assistance, Office of Justice Programs, U.S. Department of Justice. Neither the U.S. Department of Justice nor any of its components operate, control, are responsible for, or necessarily endorse, this website (including, without limitation, its content, technical infrastructure, and policies, and any services or tools provided).
